Acceptance and permitted use
By using GharGanit you agree to these terms. You may use the calculators, guides and examples for personal learning, comparison, budgeting and preliminary planning, and you may link to public pages using accurate descriptions.
Your inputs and responsibility
Results depend on the values and assumptions you provide. Verify appliance labels, tariff documents, product datasheets, site measurements, engineering specifications and legal land records before making a purchase, installation, construction, financial or property decision.
No professional service
GharGanit does not provide engineering, architectural, electrical, financial, surveying or legal advice. Construction results are preliminary quantity estimates; land conversions are not title, boundary or official-area certificates.
Availability and changes
The site may correct, improve, suspend or remove a calculator, guide, source link or feature. GharGanit does not promise uninterrupted availability or that an external source will remain online.
Intellectual property
Unless a page states otherwise, GharGanit’s original site text, design and code presentation may not be republished in bulk or presented as another service’s original work. Short quotations and ordinary links are permitted with attribution, subject to applicable law.
Dataset licence
The Indian Land-Unit Factor Dataset is offered under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. Reuse must credit Tilock Sadhukhan and GharGanit, link to the dataset page and licence, and preserve status and exception notes so customary or location-limited factors are not presented as universal legal facts.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GharGanit and its maintainer are not liable for loss caused by relying on an estimate without the checks clearly requested on the relevant page. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts with applicable jurisdiction in India may hear disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer or other rights that apply.
