Calculator inputs

Calculations run in your browser. We do not require an account, and calculator inputs are not intentionally sent to GharGanit. A shareable URL contains only the values you choose to place in that URL, which may then be visible to anyone who receives it and to services that handle the link.

Local storage and technical records

The site may store your theme preference, analytics choice, preferred electricity rate, preferred land state and calculator scenarios that you explicitly save in local storage. These preferences stay in that browser on that device and are not sent to GharGanit. The hosting provider may process routine request information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, time and security logs to deliver, protect and operate the service.

Optional Google Analytics

GharGanit uses Google Analytics 4 only after you allow analytics. It helps us understand page visits, calculator categories used, search-result selections, result actions and yes-or-no usefulness feedback. We do not intentionally send calculator input values, calculated answers, names, email addresses, electricity account numbers or land-record details. Page URLs sent to Analytics exclude query strings so shared calculator values are not included.

What Analytics may process

When analytics is allowed, Google may process information such as a randomly generated browser identifier, page path, referral source, approximate location derived from an IP address, device and browser information, and event time. Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga. Advertising storage, Google Signals and ad-personalisation signals are disabled in the GharGanit tag.

Advertising and Google

Advertising is not enabled in the current release. If Google AdSense is activated, Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses or other device and browser identifiers to deliver, limit, personalise and measure ads, prevent fraud and report performance. Depending on consent and regional rules, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.

Choices and consent

Analytics storage is denied by default. You can allow or decline optional analytics in the privacy prompt and change the choice through Privacy and cookie settings in the footer. The choice is saved in your browser. Declining analytics does not affect any calculator. Before advertising is activated, GharGanit will separately configure a Google-certified consent platform wherever required.

• Use Privacy and cookie settings in the footer to change the analytics choice.
• Delete site storage in your browser to remove the saved preference and any existing analytics cookies.
• Review Google’s privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy.

Correction reports

If you submit the private correction form, GharGanit stores the page reference, report text, optional source link and optional LinkedIn profile needed to review and follow up on the report. Do not submit sensitive records. Reports may be retained for up to 12 months for investigation, abuse prevention and the public correction process.

Sharing, retention and children

GharGanit does not sell calculator inputs or correction reports. Service providers may process limited information only to host, secure, measure or monetise the site under their own terms and applicable agreements. Operational logs are retained only as required by the relevant provider or for security and legal obligations. The service is intended for a general audience and is not designed as a child-directed service.
