Your location, bill and appliances
Use nameplate watts or an appliance label. The tool does not guess a tariff.

What uses electricity at home?
Private by design. Calculations and saved details stay in this browser. Raw appliance, bill and result values are not sent to analytics.
Stop guessing which appliance drives the bill
A bill shows the total but usually not the household devices behind it. This passport turns label watts, quantity, runtime and cycling into a comparable kWh breakdown. It is a planning model, not a smart-meter reading.
Check the largest rows first
Confirm the exact model label and realistic hours for the highest-use appliances. For cycling equipment such as air conditioners and refrigerators, replace the example operating factor when measured or manufacturer information is available.
Your tariff remains your evidence
Country selection suggests a currency but never inserts an electricity rate. Tiered rates, taxes, credits and demand charges vary by provider and plan, so verify the current bill before acting.
Verify the terms behind the working
The arithmetic uses SI electrical-energy relationships. These independent references define the units and terminology; they do not supply a household tariff.
