Running watts describe steady demand, while motors and compressors may need a higher start-up input. Runtime then determines energy. Keeping these questions separate prevents a single unexplained “battery size” answer.
Losses and reserve remain your evidence
Conversion efficiency, usable depth and ageing/reserve are explicit inputs. Chemistry is only a worksheet label because real limits depend on the exact battery, management system, discharge rate, temperature and manufacturer documentation.
Verify equipment and installation separately
The result is a planning requirement. Check continuous and surge ratings, battery discharge limits, cable and protection sizing, ventilation, charging, local electrical rules and installer guidance before selecting or installing equipment.
